Meals from Last Week and an Easy Portion Control Tip

Jan 27

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I am still somewhat following Phase 1 of the 17-Day Diet and feeling really good about things.  I am currently loving this French Toast Breakfast Scramble.

I made my version with egg whites, cinnamon, stevia, vanilla, 1/2 banana, and topped with peanut butter.  I know it sounds weird, but I promise it is really good and a filling breakfast for less than 200 calories!

A few other meals from this week:

Chicken Fajita Salad

I made these Cauliflower Pancakes on Friday and they were to die for!  Definitely not the prettiest side dish, but really tasty!

My portion control tip is something so easy, I feel kinda silly even writing about it.  I’ve bought these frozen yogurt cups numerous times before…

day16 Treat

and although they are very tasty and a perfectly portioned 100 calorie treat, I hate spending $4 on 3 servings of frozen yogurt.  So, last week when I went to the grocery store, I bought one of my favorite flavors of frozen yogurt, let it thaw just a bit, and then portioned out my own 100 calorie containers.

Portion Control

Like I said, ridiculously easy, but if you are counting calories or just trying to keep your evening treats in check, this is an easy and cheap way to do it!
